The Film

_{Last night I watched the film "V for Vendetta". And wow. It's an amazing film, I loved it. Seriously, you should watch it too. The opening lines are: "Remember, remember, the Fifth of November, the Gunpowder Treason and Plot. I know of no reason why the Gunpowder Treason should ever be forgot... But what of the man? I know his name was Guy Fawkes and I know, in 1605, he attempted to blow up the Houses of Parliament. But who was he really? What was he like? We are told to remember the idea, not the man, because a man can fail. He can be caught, he can be killed and forgotten, but 400 years later, an idea can still change the world. I've witnessed first hand the power of ideas, I've seen people kill in the name of them, and die defending them... but you cannot kiss an idea, cannot touch it, or hold it... ideas do not bleed, they do not feel pain, they do not love... And it is not an idea that I miss, it is a man... A man that made me remember the Fifth of November. A man that I will never forget." It's based on the events of 1604 and Guy Fawkes (V wears a Guy Fawkes mask), only brought to the near future, and modernized somewhat. It's about this anarchist who wants to put an end to the totalitarian regime of a possible future London. It was actually a comic book series written by Alan Moore in the 80s, about the 90s. I want to read the books now. Aah. Amazing story, brilliant!

^{that movie's amazing, it's one of my favorites, the first time i watched it i was in total awe.

my favorite part was when she found the note and read it. it made me cry.

and about that quiz hahaha most of the things apply to me. it's sad}

_{Yes, and the end is amazing too. When they're looking out at the explosiong, and she tells the man (I can't remember his name, and I've just seen the film for the second time xD) that V was all of them. It's like.. The ideal of freedom. I love the message given by this film.
It's amazing.

I cried when V died ): I didn't want him to die either.

I watched it 6 times and the last one was just a week ago.
I love it more every time I watch and reminds me why am I living for?
For the ideas I defend...
